Two Bridges Large-Scale Development - New York, NY

The Two Bridges Large-Scale development is a proposed development in Manhattan’s Lower East Side neighborhood. It consists of three buildings totaling more than 2,700 apartments, about 700 of which will be affordable. To mitigate environmental impacts of the development, the proposal will also provide $15m in local park improvements, $12.5m to fund improvements to a NYCHA campus, and $40m for improvements to the East Broadway subway station.

This project was subject of significant community and legal scrutiny, undergoing several years of litigation following approval of a non-ULURP modification to an existing large-scale residential development.
